This guy has done a good thing by making his lectures available (though of course you’ve got to listen to many different lecturers to get even an initial grasp) but beware his politics- in an email exchange with me he said he had lost confidence in jimmy carter because carter’s electoral monitoring of elections in Venezuela showed them to be quite fair (which they were). Don’t know, till I listen, more about his politics.
BUT from this guy to Zizek the demonization of Venezuela’s efforts to move history forward is so sad… I think of Zizek’s love notes to Obama as the flip side.
I do recommend Sadler’s many lectures; thus sort of a aside.
